"The humidity was wicked on Wednesday morning and I had put on a hooded sweatshirt to keep the mosquitoes off." Got overheated. Oh man. Weather, bugs, poison ivy. My own excuses for doing nothing with our seven acres except grow prairie flowers. What a schlub I am! I harvest nothing - not the stinging nettle, not the catnip for tea. The pine trees went down in a storm, none left for pine needle tea. Oh the purslane and lamb's quarters I've failed to eat, the veggies I've failed to grow (rabbits get all the peas, possums and beetles got all my melons). You amaze me!
