LOVE the photos.
How does a professional chef not have lots of uses for tomato (spaghetti sauce, chili, pizza)?
The decline of the light in September: oh I feel it, along with the reduced productivity of the garden.
If only the dang ticks would decline! Love this too:
I made the mistake of not doing all this JUST FOR ONE QUICK TRIP TO PICK ONE SINGLE OKRA FRUIT, and two days later I am itching like crazy from the hips down.
I miss my chickens, who did a decent job of keeping the tick population down, but I had no idea how great a job they had been doing until now.
I need some guinea foul to help out the possums, who at 5,000 ticks per season (without tomato sauce to make the ticks more palatable!) just cannot keep up with the population of these pests.
I managed to grow some cilantro and basil this summer, but it all went to seed long before the lone tomato plant produced two tomatoes (which will get sliced into discs for burgers). Not even gonna photograph this. Your photos are awesome. And so are the new glasses! (Spectacles!)
