I was planning to email our lone oak tree which grows so slowly, it is dwarfed by the butternut I'd planted nearby, but when I went out to snap a photo, I discovered my little locust seedling had been devastated by.... DEER.... how dare they! After all my work to save this little fellow from transplant shock.
