My husband loves his old (1980s) Sennheiser headphones. Our son would borrow them a lot so I ordered him a new pair via Amazon, and he said to give them only one star. The company was resting on its laurels. (This was maybe ten years ago.) Glad you're liking your new pair!

I found you thanks to @galenkp's post. Our son, @mvkean, is a jazz bassist with a degree in music, five years as a freelance bassist in Chicago, then three in New York, then.. Covid! ... which led to a year in Mexico, minus his upright bass and most of his home recording studio. He resumed guitar instead (percussion is not portable but who knows, he could resume that too, one day). He works a remote office job by day and enjoys the live music scene even though he hasn't been in band for a long time now.

Hard times for musicians, chronically underpaid, got so much harder during the pandemic. You seem to be thriving.
