Pigs are too cute to be raised for the slaughter, but feral hogs... well, if they're hogging the food supply and hurting other native species, I could see harvesting them (so to speak) for bacon and ham.
Thank you for this reminder. I've never seen a feral hog in my neck o' the woods, but these dudes look dark and sinister, not like the cute pink piglets of my childhood on a farm. Hunters, bring home the bacon - if it's not legal, push for legislation to allow hog hunting!
