Our son recorded, unbeknownst to us, some conversations around the house - and put them into a song! - while he was in high school. Now I wish he'd produced dozens of such compositions. We have a toy phone with a recording of our daughter at age 2 singing The Titanic theme (Once more you open the door) and now I gotta go check on that and see if it's still playable - gotta RECORD it with newer tech to PRESERVE it for real. This daughter is now carrying her third child... gotta savor (and save!) the daily life events that seem so trivial at the time but years later become heirlooms. Bless you and your Aunt Ruth!!
