Am I the only annoyed parent?

These event photographers block parents from getting close enough to snap a photo, then copyright and sell their photos. What a racket!

You see what I mean?

And if that isn't bad enough, kindergartners now wear caps and gowns-

Graduating from Kindergarten! Oh, wait, that's not enough.

They also graduate from Pre-K!

And to waste more of a parent's money, every student (college and high school) must

Buy, not Rent, a New Cap and Gown,

nor buy one used, for this histrionic occasion. Yes, I said

Histrionic

not historic, and I'm peeved, so I'm going back out into a scorching May sun to dig more dandelions and pull more garlic mustard from the understory of our woodlands.
