SAINT PETER
Hello dear friends,
This is my drawing of Saint Peter.
His big face is turned to the light and to Christ, as he were ask him to confirm who can enter in Paradise and who cannot.
On his beard there are small people who try to climb to get to their destination, but not all of them can do it, and they fall down... this is because they are still not ready to cross the light.
I made this drawing in pastels, charcoal and sanguine on cardboard, and think that the theme of St. Peter is appropriate to these days of Christian celebration.

SAN PIETRO
Ciao cari amici,
questo è il mio disegno di San Pietro.
Il suo grande viso è rivolto verso la luce e verso il Cristo, come se gli chiedesse la conferma di chi può entrare in Paradiso e chi no.
Sulla sua barba ci sono delle piccole persone che cercano di arrampicarsi per poter arrivare al loro obiettivo, ma non tutte ce la fanno, e ricascano giù... questo è perchè ancora non sono pronte per attraversare la luce.
Ho disegnato questo quadro a pastelli, fusaggine e sanguigna su cartone, e credo che il tema di San Pietro sia adeguato a questi giorni di Festa Cristiana.
