Every week I look forward to Monday so I can show you a little more of me, last week I found out that I can publish from your community and I think that's wonderful. Unfortunately due to technical problems I don't know what happened and the community link was changed and then published in another site, but today I'm going to keep an eye on it so that it doesn't happen again.
Today I want to show you another work I did some time ago for Isabella. I'm sure some of you have kept something for a long time hoping to use it again some day, because that's what happened with the lullaby and the crib blanket.
This girl's mother brought me this to decorate her again and change her laces and ribbons. When I saw her she looked very different from the ones I had usually seen in the market. Her shape was particular but beautiful, so what we did was to make her a beautiful embroidery with the baby's name and we put a ribbon on it; we also put an embroidered strip on the top that gave her a more elegant touch.

At that time owls were very fashionable, and she chose these 3, I immediately put them on and bordered everything in cross-stitch and we varied the font.
The mother ordered other things, such as this cover which she wanted to put in the crib of the clinic together with a rectangular quilt that brought the exact measurements and to which I also made several modifications.
This was something I didn't know either, I had never been commissioned anything like this, but I found it super interesting since many people take their first pictures of the baby at the checkpoint and what better idea than to decorate it and enhance the image with beautiful things made especially for her.
But that was not the end of the order, also the mother was very happy for everything that was happening to her, she sent her to knit shoes and hat in crochet.
There is a lot of work in this market, someone once told me that "Babies never stop being born" so I was going to have work for a while, and it's true!! but, there are some clients who teach you new things and this is one of those cases. From that day on I promoted the quilts for the crib at the clinic's checkpoint and it went very well, thank God.
Well friends, with this work I say see you soon, I hope you like it and again thank you for allowing me to be part of your community.
