I have invested a decent amount in bitcoin couple of months ago. I was hoping that it's value will increase in at the end of this year.

Though it's just September of the year, but value of BTC is decreasing. All of indicator for bitcoin price showing that the value will go upward. But it's not happening till now. The rate of transaction is increasing everyday, though rate is not very high. There is no reason to go BTC value downward. I can say that the current value of bitcoin is it's mining cost. So, for an investor this value is not profitable at all.
