Hello to everyone in the Hive Open Mic community! Today I bring you a new cover of the song 'Take a chance on me' by the Swedish band, ABBA. It's not the first time I bring a song of theirs but as you may know, I really enjoy their songs and I hope you can enjoy it too.
This time, ABBA brings us a song that can be translated into English as 'take the chance' or 'take the risk' in a play on words that they use to refer to a couple of people arguing about whether or not to go out on a date. In a jocular, cheerful and fun way we can understand all the complicity that happens between a couple of people who like each other and go through all the stages that are experienced before formalizing the relationship. Or maybe just enjoying the moment. So it results in a nice and memorable song that reached several first places in different parts of the world. It belongs to the album 'The Album' from 1978.
¡Hola a todos en la comunidad de Hive Open Mic! El día de hoy les traigo un nuevo cover de la canción 'Take a chance on me' de la banda sueca, ABBA. No es la primera vez que traigo un tema de ellos pero como han de saber, disfruto muchísimo sus canciones y espero que también ustedes lo puedan disfrutar.
Está vez, ABBA nos trae una canción que puede traducirse al español como 'toma la oportunidad' o 'toma el riesgo' en un juego de palabras que utilizan para referirse a un par de personas que disputan sobre salir o no juntos en alguna cita. De forma jocosa, alegre y divertida podemos entender toda la complicidad que sucede entre un par de personas que se gustan y atraviesan todas las etapas que se experimentan antes de formalizar la relación. O quizás simplemente disfrutar del momento. Por lo cual resulta en una canción agradable y memorable que alcanzó varios primeros lugares en diferentes partes del mundo. La misma pertenece al álbum 'The Album' del año 1978.
The cover was recorded with only one voice although it is originally a quartet. Like most of ABBA's songs. I wanted to add them but honestly the process of editing all those voices requires a better program and some experience hehehe I promise to do it again in a way that pays a better tribute to the group. El cover fue grabado con una sola voz aunque originalmente es un cuarteto. Como la mayoría de las canciones de ABBA. Quise añadirlos pero sinceramente el proceso de editar todas esas voces conlleva a tener un programa más óptimo y algo de experiencia jejeje prometo hacerlo de nuevo de forma que rinda un mejor tributo al grupo.
