Today, I want to share with you a Peruvian tradition called El Señor de los Milagros, one of the country's most popular and widely celebrated religious events. 💜
This time, I had the opportunity to be part of the celebration at a school where I'm currently pursuing my entrepreneurial journey.
Every October, this religious tradition takes place, with people accompanying the image of the Lord of Miracles in a procession. Children dress in purple, the color that symbolizes this celebration in honor of the Lord.
According to what I read about the tradition, its origins date back to the 17th century, when an enslaved African man painted an image of Christ on a wall. During an earthquake, the wall remained standing, and from that moment on, devotion to the image grew among the people of Lima.
Over time, it became one of Peru's largest religious and cultural celebrations.
I'm so happy to have been part of this activity, where the traditions of a country are expressed and celebrated, while I also get the opportunity to learn more about them.
I'm truly grateful for this opportunity because, beyond offering a product or service, it's about growing, learning, and sharing moments that will forever remain in my heart. 💜✨
