Hive Open Mic Week 121 "Ella O Él" (Her Or Him) Cover By @carmenrivas

Hola, mi querida comunidad de Hive Open Mic. Llega otra semana de propuestas, una nueva temática, sugerida esta vez por nuestra reciente artista destacada @osmely, lo que nos hace escuchar muchas canciones, desechar unas, quedar indecisos entre varias, hasta que, al final, decimos…”Esta es la mía” y comenzamos a aprender la letra (que pocas veces sabemos completa, aún las de nuestras canciones favoritas), ver en qué tonalidad se adapta mejor a nuestra voz, montar los instrumentos, recibir sugerencias de nuestros amigos y ensayar hasta que el resultado nos satisface. A veces es repetir decenas de veces el mismo compás “hasta que sale”, otras veces es repetir la grabación varias veces por cualquier detallito que se nos escapa al momento... pero allí vamos.
Para esta semana seleccioné un tema de música llanera, del cantante venezolano Luis Silva, la canción "Ella o Él", porque toca el momento de la espera del bebé, nuevo integrante de la familia, las expectativas que ponemos al momento de especular si será niño o niña. Antiguamente esa expectativa se mantenía durante los nueve meses de gestación…ahora, con los modernos ecosonogramas, a las pocas semanas de embarazo ya se puede saber si será niño o niña, aunque a veces no se dejan ver y se mantiene la expectativa hasta el final. Esta canción está ubicada en ese momento en que aún en el sexo del bebé esperado es un misterio para quienes lo aguardan. Una letra sencilla pero significativa, una música agradable y la combinación del trabajo de mi querido amigo @orlandobello quien en esta oportunidad suelta el tambor y toma las maracas para ayudarme con la base rítmica, los coros en las voces de @hermaryrc y @sayury, la asesoría de imagen y grabación del video por parte de @barbyjr, el apoyo técnico de @gabrieljr y luego, en la post producción, @sayury subiendo el video a youtube.com y encargándose posteriormente de la publicación.
Todo este maravilloso trabajo de equipo para traerles la canción “Ella o él”, esperando que la misma sea de su agrado. For this week I selected a llanera music theme, by the Venezuelan singer Luis Silva,the song "Ella o él" (She or he) because it talks about the moment of waiting for the baby, a new member of the family, the expectations that we put at the moment of speculating if it will be a boy or a girl. In the past, this expectation was maintained during the nine months of gestation...now, with modern echosonograms, after a few weeks of pregnancy it is already possible to know if it will be a boy or a girl, although sometimes they are not seen and the expectation is maintained until the end . This song is located at that moment when the sex of the expected baby is still a mystery to those who await it.
