Hello, greetings friends of Hive.
Today I want to share with you something strange that happened with my three year old son. Let me tell you.
Like every day my son Daniel gets up very early in the morning, has breakfast and starts playing with his toys and stuffed animals.
Just yesterday morning he got up, had breakfast and started playing all morning until noon when he stopped playing because it was lunch time.
He stops playing and puts all his things away, washes his hands as usual and we all sit down to eat. One of the rules we have at home is that after eating, he rests for a few minutes and then takes a bath and rests.
He went to bed at 1:00 pm, rested for a couple of hours and then got up feeling a little sick. At first I thought it was normal because sometimes he gets up like that and then we see him playing, jumping, running.
But yesterday that didn't happen. While I was at my desk preparing a post, I looked at him quite discouraged with no desire to go play, it was so much that he didn't even want to have a snack. That really surprised me because he is a kid who loves to eat and he loves snacks even more. Then I got really worried and took him in my arms and I felt that he was a little broken, that is to say, with fever.
I gave him a teaspoon of acetaminophen for the fever and the fever; I thought he would get better but he didn't. He continued with the discomfort and the fever. He continued with the discomfort and even worse, with a high fever. I was really worried, I could not explain why a fever suddenly appeared if he spent the morning very well, in fact when I put him to bed at noon I saw him very cheerful and then he woke up feeling sick and with fever. He couldn't stop thinking why the fever all of a sudden.
After a few hours I noticed that the medicine had no effect, he was still the same and not only that but he also started to vomit and that made him worse. The fever continued, so much so that since the medicine didn't do anything, I started rubbing wet wipes all over his body.
It got dark and I gave him his fever medicine again, that was when the fever started to go down and the discomfort passed, I could see my son a little more cheerful. However, I did not stop looking after him, I even decided to sleep with him; I do not like to leave him alone, in fact, I do not leave any of my children alone at times like these, that is when I am most aware of them.
So that night I slept with him, on the one hand I felt a little relief because he slept all night and did not get a fever and even woke up with more spirit and wanting to eat, since he went to bed with an empty tummy because everything he had eaten he threw up and had no appetite at all.
If he continues like this, I will have to go to a health center to have him checked to see why the fever, some neighbors tell me that it could be a virus. I can't really say that it is a virus, the only thing is that if he continues like this, I will take him to a health center to have him checked. al doctor.
I hope my son gets better and it is nothing serious.
This has been all, greetings and a hug.
