When I set out in my mind and heart to learn everything about hairdressing I didn't have the knowledge or the necessary tools to dedicate myself 100 percent, even so I had the desire and desire to learn and acquire much more knowledge about the world of hairdressing.
When I met my husband 
At first I felt sorry for him because I noticed some differences and deficiencies in the cut. My brothers joked with him saying that how could he think of cutting his hair with me. From then on, some neighbors came to the house to get a haircut and I also shaved my children, little by little I lost my fear.

Cuando conoc铆 a mi esposo
Al principio sent铆 pena porque le notaba algunas diferencias y deficiencias en el corte. Mis hermanos bromeaban con 茅l diciendo que c贸mo se le ocurr铆a cortarse el cabello conmigo. Recuerdo que mi esposo les dijo lo siguiente: "驴C贸mo va a aprender si no la apoyamos?" Esa palabras no se me han olvidado y las valoro mucho porque es as铆.
A partir de ese entonces algunos vecinos iban a la casa para que les hiciera un corte y a mis hijos tambi茅n los afeitaba, poco a poco fui perdiendo el miedo.

I felt sad馃槾 because I had no one to do my hair, my husband again gave me an idea馃槒 and told me to gather all my daughter's friends and do their hair, I thought it was an excellent idea馃槏. The girls visited my daughter in the mornings and afternoons so I took one of those days and asked them if they wanted me to give them a nice hairstyle. Happy and excited the girls answered me yes. Las ni帽as visitaban a mi hija de ma帽ana y tarde as铆 que tome un d铆a de esos y les pregunt茅 si quer铆an que yo les hiciera un peinado bien lindo. Contentas y emocionadas las ni帽as me respondieron que s铆. A partir de ese entonces todos los d铆as las peinaba y cada vez se sumaban m谩s. Hasta fila hac铆an. ja, ja, ja.
A few days later my husband helped me to complete and buy a razor. I was much more excited馃樀, I was already achieving something of what I wanted. Even so I was not satisfied馃槳 I wanted to take a hairdressing course to improve myself much more, but where I lived it was very difficult for me to do it because I lived in the countryside and the city was a bit far from where we lived.

Aun as铆 no estaba conforme馃槳 quer铆a hacer un curso de peluquer铆a para perfeccionarme mucho m谩s, pero donde yo viv铆a era muy dif铆cil que lo hiciera porque yo viv铆a en el campo y la ciudad quedaba un poco retirada de donde viv铆amos.
When we moved to the city of Maracay, in July 2021, the first thing I did was to take a hairdressing course for three months where I learned a few things, but I kept dreaming. I kept on combing my little girl's hair and cutting my children's and husband's hair.

The days went by and as I wanted to improve my hairstyles I had the idea馃槒 to buy a mannequin head to practice my hairstyles. It was quite difficult to find an economic one, even though we asked around, they were too expensive and the money we had collected was not enough to buy one of those.
Fueron pasando los d铆as y como quer铆a perfeccionarme con los peinados se me ocurre la idea馃槒 de comprar una cabeza de maniqu铆 para practicar con los peinados. Se me hizo bastante dif铆cil de encontrar una econ贸mica, por m谩s que pregunt谩bamos eran demasiado costosas y el dinero que hab铆amos reunido no nos alcanzaba para comprar una de esas.
The desire to have a mannequin head had not gone away from me, although I no longer had any hope of having one. One day I was coming with a friend very calm and relaxed down the street, when suddenly she caught sight of a mannequin head in front of a house. At that moment, full of emotion and happiness馃槺馃槏 I told my friend, I went to that house and asked the lady if it was for sale. She answers me yes, right over there I ask her the price and she tells me she had it for ten dollars.
It turns out that she was auctioning off things she didn't need, that's why the price was so low. I was even more excited because it was super cheap and in very good condition. I didn't buy it that day, but I asked her to please not sell it, that I would surely go the next day. She told me that she could not guarantee that she would sell it because there were two other people interested, and that she would sell it to the first one that came along. Of course the next day I went and to my surprise and joy, there was the mannequin head/doll and I was able to purchase it.
El deseo de tener una cabeza de maniqu铆 no se me hab铆a ido, aunque ya no ten铆a esperanza de tenerla. Un d铆a ven铆a con una amiga muy tranquila y relajada por la calle, cuando de pronto alcanzo a ver una cabeza de maniqu铆 en frente de una casa. Yo en ese momento llena de emoci贸n y felicidad 馃槺馃槏 le comento a mi amiga, me dirijo a esa casa y le pregunto a la se帽ora que si est谩 en venta. Me responde que s铆, por all铆 mismo le pregunto el precio y me dice que la ten铆a en diez d贸lares ($10).
Resulta que estaba haciendo un remate de cosas que no necesitaba, por eso el precio tan bajo. M谩s emocionada me sent铆 porque estaba s煤per econ贸mica y en muy buen estado. Ese d铆a no la compr茅, pero le ped铆 que por favor no la vendiera, que con seguridad ir铆a al d铆a siguiente. Ella me dice que no pod铆a garantizarme que la tendr铆a porque hab铆an dos personas m谩s interesadas, que a la primera que llegara, se la vend铆a. Por supuesto que al siguiente d铆a me fui y para mi sorpresa y alegr铆a, all铆 estaba la cabeza/mu帽eca de maniqu铆 y la pude adquirir.
I finally had the mannequin head in my hands and now I could practice doing her hair at any time. Those were some of the best days of my life. I was so excited doing hairstyles and my husband was so happy for me.
Por fin ten铆a la cabeza de maniqu铆es en mis manos y ahora si pod铆a practicar haci茅ndole peinados a la hora que fuera. Esos fueron de los mejores d铆as de mi vida. Estaba muy emocionada haciendo peinados y mi esposo ni se diga, feliz por m铆.
That was an achievement and one more step to continue with my purpose, I know that I have much more things to learn and know in this world of hair, which as we know is very broad. With the desire to set up my own hair salon, although I lack some implements such as a more professional iron, a dryer, and a better quality shaver, among other things.
With this experience that I had with my learning about hairdressing and acquiring my mannequin head, I could understand that the hope in obtaining what you want is the last thing you should lose and that if you want to achieve something you must fight for it.

Ese fue un logro y un escal贸n m谩s para continuar con mi prop贸sito, se que me falta mucho m谩s cosas por aprender y conocer en este mundo del cabello, que como sabemos es muy amplio. Con deseos de montar mi propia peluquer铆a, aunque me faltan algunos implementos como una plancha m谩s profesional, un secador, y otra maquina de afeitar de mejor calidad, entre otras cosas.
Con esta experiencia que tuve con mi aprendizaje sobre peluquer铆a y al adquirir mi cabeza maniqu铆, pude entender que la esperanza en obtener lo que desea es lo 煤ltimo que debe perderse y que si quieres alcanzar algo debes luchar por eso.
