Hello all friends of HIVE, I hope you are doing well!
For this day I want to share with you the elaboration of a cup holder set, handcrafted with recycled tongue and groove wood.
For this utensil I was inspired by the landscapes of my margarita island and a good coffee.
I hope you like it, let's start; I chose tongue and groove wood because it was what I had available to create something from.
Take advantage of the aging of the wood to give it that old and worn look to give it decorative reliefs.
Materials:
• 60 cm of tongue and groove wood.
Tools:
• Pencil and eraser.
•Hacksaw blade.
• Varnish and stain for wood.
•Dremel.

Materiales:
• 60 cm de madera de machihembrado.
Herramientas:
• Lápiz y borrador.
• Hoja de segueta.
• Barniz y tinte para madera.
• Dremel.

Step 1
• We select the wood, mark the selected size and cut.
• With the defined elements we make corrections at will.
• We sand each of the elements, starting with a coarse, medium and fine grain to give it that smooth finish.

Paso 1

Step 2
• We drill where the male supports for the cup holders will be screwed.
• We make the design of our relief on the wood.
• We make an anti-drip circle in the cup holders.

Paso 2
