Hello dear HIVE community, For today, I wanted to show you how we can make a Christmas cookie with recycled materials.
This time I used a 10cm piece of wood for roofing, and recycled plastics to add color and texture to the Christmas decorations that I will show you below.
I hope you like it we started.
Materials:
• Wood tongue and groove 11 * 8cm; body of the Christmas cookie.
• White plastic; mouth, eyes, and clothing lines.
• Recycled Christmas red ribbon; buttons.
• Green foam; ribbon.
• Black tape; medium.
Tools:
• Pencil, eraser, square and notebook.
• Metal scissors.
• Fine and coarse sandpaper.
• Silicone and lighter.

Hola querida comunidad de HIVE, Para el día de hoy, quería mostrarles cómo podemos hacer una galleta navideña con materiales reciclados.
En esta oportunidad utilice un pedazo de 10cm de madera para techos, y plásticos reciclados para agregarle color y textura a la decoración navideña que les mostrare a continuación.
Espero que les guste comenzamos.
Materiales:
• Madera machihembrado de 11*8cm; cuerpo de la galleta navideña.
• Plástico blanco; boca, ojos, y líneas de la vestimenta.
• Cinta roja de navidad reciclada; botones.
• Foami verde; lazo.
• Cinta negra; soporte.
Herramientas:
• Lápiz, borrador, escuadra y libreta.
• Tijera de metal, Lija fina y gruesa.
• Silicón y encendedor.

Step 1
• Draw the decorative element in the notebook, if the figure is made freehand as in this case, we can only draw half, and then we make a fold of the figure, then mark and cut.

Paso 1

• Dibujar el elemento decorativo en la libreta, si la figura es realizada a mano alzada como en este caso, podemos solo dibujar la mitad, y luego hacemos un doblez de la figura, para luego marcar y cortar.

Step 2
• With the mold; We mark on the wood and cut with a hacksaw blade.

Paso 2
• Con el molde; marcamos en la madera y cortamos con una hoja de segueta.

Step 3
• Sand the edges and faces of the figure, for a smooth and defined finish.
• Apply coarse sandpaper and then fine sandpaper until it feels very smooth to the touch.
• The natural lines of the wood have to be sanded in the same direction for a better shine.

Paso 3
• Lijar los bordes y las caras de la figura, para un acabado suave y definido.
• Aplicar lija gruesa y luego una fina hasta que se sienta muy suave al tacto.
• Las líneas naturales de la madera tienen que ser lijadas en su misma dirección para un mejor brillo.

Step 4
• The elements to decorate this Christmas cookie are strong and durable over time.
• As a final step, we make a hole in the wood to insert a PC screw, in order to serve as a hook for the support tape.

Paso 4
• Los elementos para decorar esta galleta navideña son fuertes y duraderos al paso del tiempo.
• Como paso final, realizamos un orificio en la madera para insertar un tornillo de PC, con la finalidad de que nos sirva como gancho para la cinta de soporte.
