Today today I bring you how to make a mosaic with CD, this mosaic with a Christmas theme inspired by the star of Bethlehem, I did it with original compact discs, I wanted to show that if it is possible to work on these discs and take advantage of the reflection and finish that they have to this beautiful decoration.
I hope you like the production process, I made it entirely with recycled elements.
Let us begin:
Materials:
• 2 original CDs; for mosaics.
• Nylon; for the support strip.
• Recycled PC keyboard plastic; for the base.
• Silicone and lighter.
Tools:
• Pencil, eraser, square and notebook.
• Scissor.
• Dremel. Optional.
• Coarse and fine sandpaper.

El día de hoy les traigo como hacer un mosaico con CD, este mosaico con tema navideño inspirado en la estrella de belén, lo realice con discos compactos originales, quería mostrar que si es posible trabajar estos discos y aprovechar el reflejo y acabado que estos poseen para esta hermosa decoración.
Espero les guste el proceso de elaboración, lo elabore en su totalidad con elementos reciclados.
Empecemos:
Materiales:
• 2 CD originales; para los mosaicos.
• Nailon; para la tira de soporte.
• Plástico de teclado de PC reciclado; para la base.

• Silicón y encendedor.
Herramientas:
• Lápiz, borrador, escuadra y libreta.
• Tijera.
• Dremel. Opcional.
• Lija gruesa y fina.

Step 1
• Use an original CD as it is more resistant to cutting and sanding than copies.
• In this first step, cut the secondary stars out of a cardboard pattern.

Paso 1
• Utilice un CD original por ser más resistente que las copias al corte y al lijado.
• En este primer paso corte las estrellas secundarias con un patrón de cartón.

Step 2
• In the drawing of the main star, proceed to draw it complete, then section them, so that these fragments fit within the area of the CD or the element to be used for this mosaic.
• I made two cardboard molds, and one mold is fragmented to create the mosaics.

Paso 2
• En el dibujo de la estrella principal, se procede a dibujarla completa, luego seccionarlas, para que estos fragmentos entren dentro del área del CD o el elemento a utilizar para este mosaico.
• Hice dos moldes de cartón, y un molde se fragmenta para crear los mosaicos.

Step 3
• Use a piece of recycled PC keyboard plastic for the base.
• With the same shape of the star we mark this plastic with the mold.
• And we glue the mosaics.

Paso 3
• Para la base utilice un pedazo de plástico de teclado de PC que tenía reciclado.
• Con la misma forma de la estrella marcamos este plástico con el molde.
• Y pegamos los mosaicos.

Step 4
• Use sheer nylon to make the bra and secondary stars to the same item.

Paso 4
• Use nailon transparente para hacer el sujetador y las estrellas secundarias al mismo elemento.
