I recently had to convert Steem on Poloniex to Bitcoin. I have had to keep it there over a number of days while I found a substitute to Coinbase which seems to have collapsed. Also, what makes it challenging to find a substitute with an interface that is user friendly, as I am new to cryptocurrency and I am travelling in the EU but normally I am based in South America and the UK so I cannot verify addresses as such at this moment in time when signing up to new accounts, as I can only use phone numbers which change via location.

The best interface to use in my situation is LiteBit.eu which someone recommended as it is less complicated to use compared to Local Bitcoins. On LiteBit you can apparently convert Bitcoin to fiat currencies such as USD or Euros. Also LiteBit have banking connections out of Argentina, Mexico and Chile as well as the EU so it is a good option for me.

Last night, I sent my Bitcoins from Poloniex, so today I called support at LiteBit and they were very helpful, it seems the issue currently lay with Poloniex, I am also having problems every time I sign in to Poloniex to file a support ticket, it denies my password and no support ticket can be generated.

There is also no number to call like there is on LiteBit, so everytime I try to generate a support ticket, it fails, I am afraid Poloniex may have lost 800 dollars worth of Bitcoins in my first big transaction and there is nobody to talk to about this issue.
