I only saw the ocean twice in 2019 - once at the very beginning of the year (I watched the last rays of 2018 set at the Oregon coast), and I didn't return until the day after Christmas on our recent holiday vacation back to Oregon. In the interim we moved to Utah, which is kinda the opposite of the ocean.
