A Big Greeting dear friends of Steemit. In my article today I am going to touch a topic that I know that many people are striking. Has it ever happened to you that you want to remember one thing, and no matter how hard you try, you can not remember it? We owe this to THE MEMORY.

The memory is stored inside our brain. Thanks to memory, the brain travels constantly through time bringing to the present fragments of the past, this ability is key in human existence.

The reason for having memories is to be able to make a better decision next time, all the thoughts and plans of the future are based on memory. Even scientists are still trying to discover how memory really works in the brain, the big step was 80 years ago. In the 1920s with an experiment in a laboratory rat, placing them in a labyrinth, selectively damaging part of his brain to find out where the memory was stored in his memory to traverse the labyrinth, discovering that it was not stored In no particular place. But the system is so complex that not even the fastest super-computer is approaching the storage capacity of the brain, which scientists speculate can reach 10 million bytes.

Our brain has more connections than stars in the milky way, these connections make the brain capable of storing and retrieving huge amounts of data in surprising ways. Perhaps one of the surprising is what is called photographic memory.
Understanding how memory works helps to appreciate how amazing it is. Most human beings do not have this ability, because our brain does 57 other things at a time, we are thinking about work, chores, our future, and so on. As a result the capacity of our neurons is divided into many different activities.

Geniuses like Leonardo Da Vinci or Mozart had an incredible memory, even speculation that they were autistic. While some brains may remember virtually everything that they see they can not remember practically anything, such as Alzheimer's, those suffering from this malady, are not able to remember in the medium, short term a certain amount of information.

Definitely, our brain (memory store) is an extremely important and vital organ for the human being, memory being one of the puzzles that most draws attention in specialized scientists. Although a number of studies have been carried out on this subject, there is still not a clear idea of what a memory could possibly store, what mechanism it uses, or where this information is stored.

Says a popular saying, well known that memory is like the bad friend: the more you miss, the more you fail. So let's exercise our memory, doing mental exercises, solving crossword puzzles, word games, word searches, etc., so that we can enjoy good mental health

Thanks for reading friends! Have a good day!
