Opatija was the oasis of parties & concerts, fun & joy during the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s & part of 2000s but since 2005-2006 it's slowly rotting & decomposing... The new generations have no place to go to dance & to have a real party.

So, few of us decided to go against all rules & municipal government politics & with no license & no permission we made this for all of us who like electronic music & still like to dance in Opatija! & it was great! People were thrilled & danced all night long. No bad things happened, no fights, no emergency calls - everything was just fine!

MMC Sloga was a project of mine to create a multimedia center in which many different arts would happen: parties, concert, exhibitions, workshops... but our municipal government refused to fund the idea & didn't allow me do that. Unfortunately.

Electronic music & dance are surely forms of art!

"Sloga" in Croat means in Latin - "concordia"; in English - "harmony".

Remember this:

  1. WHO MAKES THE CITY? CITIZENS!

  2. WHO'S PROPERTY ARE THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT'S (LOCAL CITY GOVERNMENT) REAL ESTATE?

CITIZENS' PROPERTY!

  1. DO WE, AS CITIZENS, NEED TO ACQUIRE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT PERMIT TO USE THE CITIZENS' PROPERTY?

NO!

Long live the civil disobedience! Take back the control!
