Another Night in the Lab, as I Analyze Hive and Myself
Its the Night before Christmas, and im a Duck in this House.
Im an animal, but im not quite a Mouse.
Im not a Swan, nor Chicken....neither a Goose or a Grouse.
Im dressed in all black, with a Shirt, not a Blouse.
Tis the Season, and im chillin at work, just seeing if I can spot a Sleigh, some Reindeer, and to possibly catch a sight of the infamous.....Mr. Klaus.
Xmas Workin'
Well, maybe thats enough of my poem for now, cant rhyme much else with the ouse ending lol.
Im at work, no surprise, and have just 1 patient. This patient is somewhat restless, but not too bad. His breathing is decent, his level of snoring is moderate, and there are some leg movements that may be causing some disturbances.
A 1 patient night means i have some breathing room, to chill just a little. To think a little about the usual things on my mind, for better or worse. Ill try to keep my thoughts simple. Its Christmas, its about the good people in our lives. Its a nice time to enjoy time with family and friends. Whether....the weather is cold or warmer, in this country or in a different. Maybe your country doesnt quite believe or celebrate Xmas, i get it, its cool.
The year has gone by and i have to keep my focus and maintain the routine. Work is important, it allows me to keep doing what im doing. To afford a lifestyle, and to allow me a chance to slay debts and to be able to save up a good nest egg, so that i might have a chance of stepping away from all these hours sooner than later.
For now, ill appreciate this time of the year, appreciate the good people i know, and appreciate my workplace for keeping my busy. Part of my focus is to realize that i have it good here, and i should never forget that im expendable. Its true, nothing is guaranteed, so i have to be faithful to good practices.
Im watching my patient, hes even more restless at this moment while i write this post. There are some duties ill have to attend to, like writing my summary, and "scoring" this study, so ill have to mark things down and be able to tell how many times this patient awakens and to mark all the other interesting things that happen such as crappy breathing episodes or leg movements.
Lets go check on the snacks that are left behind here.....
Hmmm, love me some snacks, got some chocolate covered pretzels and peanut brittle.
How bout my sort of usual hallway picture with an effect....
