Yeah, well, I am not the most organized guy it seems and to my excuse, I have no experience with having any active social media account so far at all. No excuse to not catch up though so here it is 😅

I work at a full-time job in the metal industry (not unionized), have a family and have arrived in my mid-fourties now. My hobbies somehow haven't changed with my age so that I still love fantasy, sci-fi and everythingaround those topics. Especially roleplaying and tabletop games and miniatures are my favourites. Unfortunately I can't concentrate on any system and so I occupy myself exceedingly with one topic and then hop to the next one on my list after some time. In addition I have to work on saturdays often to pull through so there are always too many interests for the time I have.

| Ich arbeite Vollzeit im Metallbereich (leider nicht tarifgebunden), bin Familienvater und mittlerweile in meinen Mittvierzigern angekommen. Meine Hobbies haben sich mit dem Erwachsenwerden irgendwie nicht geändert, so dass ich mich immer noch für Fantasy, Sci-Fi und Alles darum herum interessiere. Besonders Rollenspiele, Tabletops und Miniaturen haben es mir angetan. Leider kann ich mich nicht für ein System entscheiden, auf das ich mich konzentriere, und so beschäftige ich mich immer in Phasen mit einer Sache besonders, springe dann aber irgendwann zur nächsten. Hinzu kommt, dass ich auch oft samstags arbeiten muss, damit man "über die Runden kommt". So bleibt relativ wenig Zeit für relativ viele Dinge, die mich interessieren. |
My favourite RPG setting is STARFINDER RPG from Paizo. Here in Germany this setting has not such a big fanbase what leads to the German publisher/translator a little poorly in comparison to their other systems.
I found my way to miniatures and tabletop gaming through the old Hero Quest boardgame and then went over to the Games Workshop products. We also had a small Battletech group running. Today there are many great manufactorers of rulesets and miniatures. I do not play any of them actively what does not prohibit me from occasionally painting some miniature.
My other hobbies include gaming and pixel art. As a child I started playing on and MS-Dos PC with an attached monochrome monitor. No wonder I usually love games being made in pixel art style ,or than flashy 3D-titles. I am a pixel-art-hobbyist myself and sometimes try image editing in Photoshop as a hobby, too.

| Zu den Miniaturen und Tabletops bin ich über das alte Hero Quest dann über die Games Workshop Produkte gekommen. Eine Zeit lang hatten wir dann eine kleine Battletech Gruppe. Mittlerweile gibt es hier viele gute Hersteller von Regeln und Miniaturen. Auch hier spiele ich nichts aktiv, was mich aber nicht daran hindert, immer noch die eine oder andere Miniatur zu bemalen. Meine anderen Hobbies sind Gaming und Pixel Art. Als Kind hatte ich mein erstes Spiel noch auf einem MS-Dos PC mint angeschlossenem Monochrom-Monitor gespielt. Kein Wunder also, dass ich meist Spielein Pixelgrafik effektbeladenen 3D-Titeln den Vorzug gebe. Ich bin dann auch selbst ein kleiner Pixel-Hobbykünstler und versuche mich noch hin und wieder an der einen oder anderen Bildbearbeitung in Photoshop. |
Since a couple of weeks ago I did not occupy myself with blockchains at all, but now I have read and watched a lot and I think this will be the future of how we all use the internet. As expected there was much to learn in many different topics. Fortunately I had some bucks put aside on a stock trading app over the last year so there was some money to experiment with. I also got some small amounts of crypto by watching the learning videos on Coinbase as a reward. My journey into the blockchain world was ready to start 😃
After having tried out a grid trading bot with USDT/BTC and minting my own small NFT collection on Solana there was something else I wanted to try: Gaming and earning wile having fun!

Wie erwartet gab es wieder einmal eine Menge unterschiedlicher Dinge zu lernen. Glücklicherweise hatte ich im vergangenen Jahr ein wenig Geld auf einer Börsen-App ansparen können - so hatte ich etwas Guthaben zum Experimentieren. Auch durch das Anschauen der Lernvideos auf Coinbase kamen noch ein paar Kryptowerte dazu, die man als Belohnung bekam. Meine Reise in die Blockchain Welt konnte also starten 😃 |

So I found Splinterlands, bought a spellbook and started playing. I still suck at playing it but think I will be getting better over time. From the game I got here and found the first social network engine I would like to be a part of!
