An early birthday celebration for our friend Chad as he is coming up on the magic 50 in circles around the sun. I smoked a couple of pork butts for pulled pork, and we had more food than anyone truly needs.
As the evening progressed, out the back patio window I could see hues of pink and orange. Although our back yard is lousy for sunset pics, I grabbed the drone from the shelf and quickly popped it straight up into the sky from the patio.
This yielded a pretty amazing display of color and glow as the clouds were gathering and darkness was hitting the landscape. A nice close to a fun evening with fantastic friends.
