Good afternoon guys well I want to use today to celebrate one of my best electrical engineer Engineer Fisayo
Personally, I believe the greatest blessing God sends to people is the blessing of a right person, at the right time, in the right place and who works on us to the right degree.
In 2005, I met this great man. I was the Class Captain of my class and one of my classmates thought it right to introduce me this awesome person from another class. I wouldn't be wrong to say he is a born leader.
We became friends. We started walking home together. He was different- was always neat, always spoke good english, spoke descent words, and talked to few brilliant and focused ladies.
In 2008, he was elected the Senior Prefect and I the Assistant. I learnt quite a lot about leadership from him. I was stretched. I grew.
In 2010, I was elected the Senior Prefect and he, the Social Prefect. He gave me maximum support. Leadership, I learnt from him, is not just the ability to lead but the humility to follow and support.
In 2011, he gained admission into the prestigious University of Lagos to study Engineering In 2012, I gained admission into University of Lagos, too, to study Engineering. On a soft note, I must have chosen the school and engineering course because of him.
I stayed with him in my first year. I learnt about God, the need to join a fellowship, personal prayers, reading books, attending conferences, public speaking etc.
I put some of these things to work, though not in the religious sphere of the campus setting. I held many leadership positions, attended many trainings and did a whole lot of other awesome things.
He's one of my classmates I can't call by his first name. I respect him and cherish him. He's a blessing. And yes, he's a leader.
