Monday at Ca' Paradiso: the guests have gone home, the house is quiet... and the building site is calling! 🔨 Yesterday was all about two things: the eco-bathroom and walks with Choko Shock. Let's go! 👇

🏗️ The compost toilet gets its roof

Work continued on our compost toilet with solar-heated shower, bidet and sink. After the floor and the walls, it was time for the roof: OSB panels, screws, a drill and a lot of kneeling up there. 🛠️

And honestly... look at that view! 😍 Green hills, the Apennines in the background and our Tibetan prayer flags dancing in the wind in front. If there were a prize for "building site with the best panorama", we'd win it hands down. 🏆 One day, whoever takes a solar shower in there will have no idea how much sweat went into that roof! 😄

🐶 Foggy trails with Choko Shock

In between the building work, a few walks with my favourite personal trainer, @choko.shock. 🐾

In the morning the hills were wrapped in fog, and the dirt tracks around Ca' Paradiso turned into a mysterious, almost lunar landscape: bare rock, dry grass and trees fading into the mist. 🌫️

Choko, of course, was in heaven: sniffing every stone, running ahead, stopping to check I was still following and then running ahead again. Every Lagotto owner knows it: one walk for you is three walks for him! 😂🐕

🚬 A moment of peace

And at the end of the day, a little reflection... literally! 😄 A smile, the pipe, the trees reflected in the car window and the satisfaction of a day spent between work and nature.

🇮🇹 Un tetto con vista e sentieri nella nebbia 🏗️🌫️🐶

Lunedì a Ca' Paradiso: gli ospiti sono ripartiti, la casa è tranquilla... e il cantiere chiama! 🔨 Ieri la giornata ha girato intorno a due cose: il bagno ecologico e le passeggiate con Choko Shock. Andiamo! 👇

🏗️ La compost toilet mette il tetto

Sono proseguiti i lavori della nostra compost toilet con doccia a riscaldamento solare, bidet e lavandino. Dopo il pavimento e le pareti, è arrivato il momento del tetto: pannelli di OSB, viti, avvitatore e tanto lavoro in ginocchio lassù. 🛠️

E sinceramente... guardate che vista! 😍 Colline verdi, l'Appennino sullo sfondo e le nostre bandierine tibetane che danzano nel vento in primo piano. Se esistesse un premio per il "cantiere con il panorama più bello", lo vinceremmo a mani basse. 🏆 Un giorno, chi si farà una doccia solare lì dentro non avrà idea di quanto sudore c'è in quel tetto! 😄

🐶 Sentieri nella nebbia con Choko Shock

Tra un lavoro e l'altro, qualche passeggiata con il mio personal trainer preferito, @choko.shock. 🐾

Al mattino le colline erano avvolte dalla nebbia, e le strade sterrate intorno a Ca' Paradiso sono diventate un paesaggio misterioso, quasi lunare: roccia nuda, erba secca e alberi che sfumavano nella foschia. 🌫️

Choko, ovviamente, era al settimo cielo: annusava ogni sasso, correva avanti, si fermava a controllare che lo seguissi e poi ripartiva. Chi ha un Lagotto lo sa: una passeggiata per te sono tre passeggiate per lui! 😂🐕

🚬 Un momento di pace

E a fine giornata, un piccolo momento di riflessione... letteralmente! 😄 Un sorriso, la pipa, gli alberi riflessi nel finestrino dell'auto e la soddisfazione di una giornata passata tra lavoro e natura.

Un tetto con vista, sentieri nella nebbia e un cane felice: ecco un buon lunedì! 🌄 Voi con che tempo preferite camminare: sole o nebbia? 👇
