Hello everyone, This is @cantfoldaces participating in the Weekly Battle Mage Secrets Challenge, in the best #play2earn game out there!! #Splinterlands!!
What's up everyone! I might have noticed that this season became a little softer compared to the previous seasons as it became less frequent to face OP Meta high level decks on the Silver League.
In fact, for the first time ever, I made it into Gold League and I'm super happy about that!
With this let's get started:
Well nothing much to talk about except you gotta put up 4 Monsters instead of the 6 usual monsters.
It won't pose a problem in low Mana battles nut actually a bit harder to deal with while having High Mana battle as you struggle to choose your monsters to put into action.
Without further ado let's got strating:
Fab Four + Close Range RulesetsWith much Mana available I decided to go as follow:
Ability: +1 Armor & +1 Speed
I've always mentionned how OP Kelya and the water team is on the Silver League, however, it feels its ever more powerful and impactful in the highest levels given the Water Team Monsters natural aggressiveness and tankiness in addition to kelya Buffs!
Ability: Trample + Enrage + Retaliate
Diemonshark base stats are already great for tankiness and Damage with a total of 16 Hit Points and 4 Damage with decent Speed! But what makes it overpowered is the Abilities:
Ability: Void + Phase + Forcefield
Another solid tank especially against the Magic Damage with the Void ability & the ability to evade any type of damage with Phase
Forcefield is crucial when facing a high damage tank!
Let's not forget about the decent 3 Magic Damage that goes right into enemy HP.
Ability: Opportunity + Poison + Demoralize
Similar to Diemonshark, Deeplurker gets a massive boost on the highest level! Not only it attacks the lowest health enemy with the Opportunity but got a 50% to inflict Poison that can lead to a takedown of the very next round
Demoralize is huge in facing a mirror battle as it nerf most of the enemy water team damage!
Abiltiy: Snipe + camouflage + Cleanse
Since we want to make use of the ruleset, I've decided to go for a high damage Ranged monster. First the camouflage makes it safe from any sneak/snipe/opportunity
Snipe makes it target the non-melee monster on the Rear position and Cleanse would be useful on my Diemonshark in case it got any negative statut effect!
Facing against a Possibilus with the Duo Diemonshark + Coastal sentry promises to be a rough battle!
Thank you for reading till now and Good luck Have Fun on your Splinterlands Battles!
