🐲 Brawl Report 🐲

This was our third Brawl in Tier 2. The first Brawl was a learning experience with new frays and stiffer competition. With a bit of practice under our belt our second Brawl went better, and we moved from last to second to last 😀 Could we put some learning together and keep moving up the ladder?

Quix v Quix

Instead of a full battle study this time around I wanted to share this battle that was driving me crazy for the longest time. I spent a long time on SplinbterTools trying to find a lineup that could have given me a fighting chance this battle. I knew my opponent had a higher level Quix, but I still thought there should have been some options that would have given me a chance to win. After beating my head into the ground for too long I realized my opponent's lineup cost 25 mana and the mana cap was only 24??? That's when fellow PIZZA guild mate @sweny led me to this bit of new learning.

Leveling up the guild's Barracks to level four grants an extra bit of mana for each guild battle 🤦‍♂ I had no hope of winning this one 🤷‍♂ I'm still not sure if I should feel bad about this loss or if I roll with the punches and just enjoy being able to get better in a tougher Tier 2 😆

😒😒 2—3. My first losing record in a Tier 2 Brawl 😒😒

The Calzones pulled over 100 points again this Brawl. The good news is that put us in 7th place! The bad news is the winner scored 225 points, a solid 100 points over our score. 🤣 We will get there. It will take us some time, but we are going to keep learning and growing. This was tougher for me personally as I moved from the Silver Chaos fray to the Silver Modern fray. A few more synergies and strategies I have to worry about, such as the level 2 Kittie that smoked me. All part of the learning curve and more motivation to keep learning and improving my collection.

Speaking of improving my deck, the rewards put me over 2000 Merits and allowed me to purchase another Gladius case. Nothing spectacular this pull, but that is my fourth Chimney, meaning one more and I can level him up!
