Sharing my first Brawl results with the PIZZA family and exciting giveaway news!
🍕🍕🍕 One of Us? 🍕🍕🍕
It's true, I've been fully indoctrinated into the PIZZA cult. After a few months of lurking in the shadows, listening to Raven's Court, playing trivia, a few games of Goose Goose Duck and even creating some Gartic drawings of my own, I have joined forces with one of the PIZZA Splinterlands guilds 😀 I'm excited to jump in with a group of casual yet active players that are looking to grow together.
🐲 Brawl Report 🐲
I selected the Bronze Chaos only Fray and had a total of six battles.
| Fire v Fire — Similar lineups, but my magic damage dealers and Triage put me over the top. Every time I see Scavo placed by an opponent I remember why it is important to have some magic damage dealers. Win (1-0) |
| Water v Fire — I was lucky as I didn't place a single unit with Flying to counter the Earthquake ruleset. Thankfully my opponent also failed to place any flyers and was wiped off the battle field quickly enough that my team only had to survive two rounds of earthquake damage. Win (2-0) |
| Fire v Earth — I knew the second I entered my team that I clicked too quickly. I had the right cards to win, but terrible placement. Not to mention I missed Regal a god awful amount of times. Loss (2-1) | |

| Earth v Water — This is one of those battles that I scratch my head and wonder what I was thinking. I knew magic was coming my way and I didn't put my best lineup out. Thinking back I rushed my choices and didn't stop to determine if there were better options. Loss (2-2) | |

| Water v Death — This was a fairly even fight. I was lucky to take out the opponents Gladius card first and negated the worry of Bloodlust. I was also lucky that their last card was ranged and couldn't attack from the 1st position. Win (3-2) |
🎈🎈 My opponent fled the final battle leaving me with a winning record —Win (4-2)🎉🎉
I was a bit concerned coming into my first Brawl with a new guild I might fall on my face, but I am quite please with my performance. If I hadn't rushed my two losses I could have put up two more wins, but it's all part of the learning process. Here's to getting better and hopefully putting up more wins in the future.
We finished in a points tie with Splinterwolves, it appears our overall win percentage was higher and gave us a fourth place finish? Not sure how that works, but both guilds took home seven crowns so I'll call it a tie for fourth. Third place was nearly double the points ahead, so I need to tighten up my losses that could have been wins in future Brawls.

In an effort to decrease my post load I've decided to fold my weekly Let It Ride giveaway in with a weekly Brawl report. Sorry you will have to get through a bit for verbiage each week to enter now 😀 I've been looking for a way to increase the engagement on my weekly giveaway so this will be a first step to altering how the giveaway will work.
