Today I want to present you the last part of the light painting session at Sarakiniko beach. The beach can be found on the north shore of the Greek island of Milos. It consists mostly of grey-white volcanic rock. The north wind has given the beach its alien shape, so the area is often compared to a lunar landscape.

Heute möchte ich euch den letzten Teil der Lightpainting Session am Strand Sarakiniko präsentieren. Der Strand ist am Nordufer der griechischen Insel Milos ist der zu finden. Er besteht größtenteils aus grauweißem Vulkangestein. Der Nordwind hat dem Strand seine außerirdische Form verliehen, so dass das Gebiet oft mit einer Mondlandschaft verglichen wird.

Lightpainting
At first I had the idea of making the water glow like liquid lava. In the picture below you can see how I illuminated the bottom under water with a KLARUS XT11GT and attached color filter. Unfortunately, I could not evenly illuminate the entire surface of the water. A new idea was needed.
Zuerst hatte ich die Idee, das Wasser wie flüssige Lava leuchten zu lassen. Im Bild unten seht ihr, wie ich mit einer KLARUS XT11GT und aufgesetzten Farbfilter unter Wasser den Grund beleuchtet habe. Leider konnte ich nicht die gesamte Fläche des Wassers gleichmäßig ausleuchten. Da musste eine neue Idee her.

The idea of painting fire on water was born.
Actually, I wanted to use a Lightblade for this. For some reason I couldn't find the right batteries for my tool. So I improvised with a KLARUS XT11GT on an adapter from Lightpainting Paradise with a color filter and an attached acrylic rod. So I painted the flames on the water. The flashlight was also submerged under water. I illuminated the area with an RGB CRITTER flashlight from Ants on a Melon.
The blurriness in the image is probably due to the high humidity, which was reflected on the lens. I didn't have a heating pad with me. Still, I found the results interesting.
Die Idee Feuer auf dem Wasser zu malen war geboren. Eigentlich wollte ich dafür ein Lightblade benutzen. Aus irgendeinem Grund habe ich nicht die passenden Batterien für mein Tool gefunden. So improvisierte ich mit einer KLARUS XT11GT an einem Adapter von Lightpainting Paradise mit Farbfilter und einem aufgestecktem Acrylstab. So malte ich die Flammen auf das Wasser. Die Taschenlampe wurde dabei auch unter Wasser getaucht. Die Umgebung habe ich mit einer RGB CRITTER Taschenlampe von von Ants on a Melon ausgeleuchtet. Die Unschärfe im Bild kommt wahrscheinlich durch die hohe Luftfeuchte, die sich auf der Linse niederschlug. Ich hatte keine Heizmanschette mit. Das Ergebnis fand ich trotzdem interessant.
