Hello, my friends, and good evening, wherever you are. I hope you are all healthy and happy, so you can carry out your activities as usual and that everything is going smoothly.
This time, I want to share some photos I took while visiting a tourist park in Pidie Jaya, Aceh, with some friends.
A few days ago, over the weekend, I visited a tourist park in Pidie Jaya, located not far from the district head's office. I'd like to share some of the photos I took during my visit with all of you in this beloved community.
So, a few days ago, over the weekend, my friends and I decided to go to a park in Pidie Jaya. This park has become a favorite tourist destination for local residents, especially in the afternoons.
Dear friends, while on our way to this tourist destination, I took a little time to take some pictures along the way. Here are some of the pictures I took along the way. I hope these pictures can give you all a glimpse of the weather during our trip to this Pidie Jaya park. The weather was very sunny, and you can see a glimpse of that in the pictures I've shared above.
After taking a few pictures, I decided to continue our journey.
On the way, we passed an overpass before finally arriving at our main destination, the city park in Pidie Jaya. This overpass, about 300 meters long, cuts through the surrounding rice fields from the edge of the national highway. As we crossed the overpass, we were struck by the smoothness of the Pidie Jaya overpass, which felt like a toll road. Interestingly, the overpass has become a popular tourist attraction for local residents. I personally observed many local residents spending time with friends on the overpass in the afternoon.
One of my friends suggested we stop by the bridge for a while to rest before finally entering the tourist destination park area of Pidie Jaya city.
I agreed and immediately took out my cell phone to take some pictures in the flyover area. The atmosphere was so calm and the weather was very sunny, making me very comfortable being in this flyover area. Above the bridge, we can also see farmers beside the bridge which is a vast expanse of rice fields. So I think if you ever come to my area, you must experience the sensation of the flyover road in Pidie Jaya city.
And finally, after a journey that seemed imperceptible, we arrived at our main destination: the city park in Pidie Jaya Regency, Aceh, Indonesia.
My friends, Pidie Jaya City Park is also known as the Pidie Jaya Museum or rumoh Aceh.
This green open space is located next to the Regent's office, making it a favorite recreation spot in Pidie Jaya. Furthermore, the park offers beautiful views, especially in the afternoon, as we visited, with its pond, flowers, and backdrop of the Regent's office and rice fields.
The beauty of this area is beyond me, so I decided to take some photos in the hope that you can experience and visualize it briefly through the images I've shared above.
As I wandered around the park, my attention was drawn to a building situated right in the middle of the park's lake or pond. A distinctive structure standing serenely on an artificial lake, it housed the Pidie Jaya Regency Museum, or as locals call it, the Acehnese house.
From a distance, this museum resembles a wooden stilt house with a distinctive Acehnese peaked roof. It appears to be dancing on the water, reflecting its own reflection in the calm surface of the pond. Next to it, a raft bridge serves as an entrance for anyone wishing to explore the stories of the past hidden within the museum's wooden walls. Unfortunately, the entrance to this area was closed when we arrived.
I think I'll have to return to this park someday to enter the Acehnese house museum. This house is not just for me to see, but to experience.
Okay, all my friends, those are some of the pictures that I shared on my blog this time about one of the tourist destinations in Aceh, namely Pidie Jaya City Park. I hope you all enjoy and like what I shared this time and see you in my next post.
