[#41752] I just have to voice my frustrations.Yesterday a man came to my door with a box of food. He said that it was a donation that had been prepared for the people living in the suit downstairs. It made sense at the time, since there are occupants on the lower level of my house. Since they weren't home at the time I took the box of food and placed it at the bottom of the stairs beside their doorA few hours later I ran into my downstairs neighbor as he was coming home from work. I mentioned that someone had come by with the food, much to his surprise, as he had no idea what I was talking about. At that point we assumed that whoever had delivered the food must have gotten the wrong address, and decided to wait and see if the man who had originally dropped the food off would realize his error and return for what he'd delivered.Fast forward to today, a middle aged woman and her son (I'm guessing) came to my door asking if someone had dropped a box of food off at my address, and that a mistake had been made. No problem, right? I'll just go downstairs and grab the box of food, no harm, no foul. Although once I got downstairs I realized that the box of food was gone. I knocked on my downstairs neighbors door and asked where it had goneHe simply shrugged his shoulders and said "I dunno." "What do you mean you don't know?" I askedHe replied "it's gone, well, most of its gone.""What do you mean most of its gone."Again, he shrugged his shoulders and said "because I ate most of it?" Like it was in some way humorous.Of course the woman and her son are at the back door at the top of the stairs, presumably overhearing this conversation. At that point I couldn't even be bothered with conversing, shot my downstairs neighbor a harsh look and left the conversation with a "...wow."Then I had to explain to these people that my neighbors had taken the donation for themselves, and that it was gone.Greedy, gluttonous and greasy fucks. Faith in humanity lost. End rant.
