I like your take on these issues and ultimately agree that the law of attraction seems like it isn't working for people because they don't really understand the process. It is so important to get clear on what we really want. So, I try not to ask the universe for more money and instead look for the opportunity or thing I need/want, that way I can just cut out the middle man ($) and get straight to bringing my dreams into reality which has more to do with physical gain like owning land, having friends, and plenty of nutritious food to eat.
