When you develop a network of creative people who you trust, you never know when you may get a message : "hey, wanna shoot? I have an idea!"
You always say yes if you can! I love getting together with fun, creative people for a little bit of fun. There are always big shoots for big purposes: publication, competition, clients, etc., so it's great to just pull something together last minute and have fun without pressure or stress. In the end, everyone gets a couple new shots for their portfolio.
This shoot was done with my friend Hollie who is an amazing makeup artist, and Amanda who is a lovely hairstylist. I really enjoyed the unique looks that they both created- they suited Vienna's unusual look. Models are so often dressed up to look 'pretty' in these shoots, so she was excited to have some shots that look a bit "different"
