Today was a very long day. I'm tired and hurting and I just burned my mouth on my dinner. Woe is me!
So! Just a short and sweet post tonight! I thought I would share another one of my paintings! I have been slow to put this work out into the world as I'm still learning how to paint and I guess I'm afraid of rejection. My other social media buddies haven't seen most of them.
"Ursus" This one is a bit more precisely painted than my usual swoopy messes (see my octopus)
I am slowwwlllyyyy dipping my toe into painting more mammals. I generally find them much more difficult to paint than the ocean-dwelling creepy crawlies I started with... something about how incredibly hard it is to get the eyes right.
Let me know what you think! Did I create something kinda cool, or is it a mess?
Do you paint? What do you like to paint?
