Theme-:"A Letter to My Future Self"
Hello #indiaunited gentlemen and ladies. Honestly, it has been a long time since I wrote a formal or informal letter. However, I do write official letters in the office and was happy with this theme because it takes me back to my memory lane when we used to write love letters at school, either to our family during Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, or Father's Day.
A letter to future @cagolistic
Dear Future Me,
I hope this letter finds you well and in a better place, looking stronger, bigger, and happier. I am filled with joy and thrilled at this moment, penning down these few notes for you. Though life can be full of struggle, the unknown, and probabilities, I am thrilled about what the next year of your life will bring from this moment.
Looking in a mirror filled with the reflection of what this one year holds. I hoped that regardless of life challenges, storms, and the insecurity here and there, you would build people with integrity around you, strengthen your resilience, and honesty. I also trust that you will continue to learn and unlearn, for we only start dying when we stop learning, while establishing yourself in good opportunities that will bring a good return on investment to support you after retirement.
Furthermore, the days are becoming saddled with news of insecurity and safety issues. Please guide yourself, manage your time wisely, do not stay out late at night, and do not leave the house too early. If it is not safe, please do not try it.
Do not forget about your professional goals and objectives. Set SMART goals, plan actions to meet those goals, and do not be discouraged when you fail and when things aren’t working out. Failures are roads to a bigger comeback and victory. Again, do not be afraid, do not give in to fear, for cowards die many times before their death. Nevertheless, do not be too comfortable to try new things.
A Colleague and I
Additionally, do not forget to love right, set your boundaries, and treat people well, especially those who have supported you throughout your life journey. Learn to forgive quickly and move on to the next chapter. Learn also to close every chapter before opening a new one.
Most importantly, take your health seriously, eat right, take time out for vacations with your family, and spend quality time with loved ones and friends. Laugh out loud and celebrate your milestone. Remain focused, tough, and steady, for the future belongs to the unfearful, brave, and resilient.
Finally, make time to meditate on the bible and pray always. Relish the moments and keep staying alive and thriving. I know you are metamorphosing into a better version of yourself.
I will keep celebrating and standing with you.
With love from your present self.
