I get the impression he's really feeling the vibration he's putting out into the world, bringing passion into his playing. I appreciate this song's hopeful message, advocating that we join forces and work together, creating a world where we can live in harmony.

His song here reaches beyond the globe and into the astral realm, where our ego is so very small in the vastness, and we can see the bigger picture of who we are, and the necessity of existing in a way that is harmonious. I also like the inventiveness of his guitar chords, and I think his singing is very pleasant.

My entry this week takes the familiar Buddhist concept of a "metta meditation" and gives it a melody and message. It's a song with positive affirmations about health, wellness, and acceptance, extending into love for the surroundings. This is an effort to reach all of existence with a vibration of lovingkindness.
Appreciation
Hive Open Mic showcases Hive's gifted and talented musicians. I honor these artists for expressing themselves in a way that creates connection. To me, we all benefit through the camaraderie between musicians and music fans, sharing a musical vibration. Please join me in extending our gratitude through claps, finger snaps, and tips to individual musicians.
Inspiration
Quick Question: How do these performers play a song like this without crying joyful tears? I can feel myself getting swept up emotionally just listening to the song, and feeling the vibration in it. When I imagine what this must've been like in the audience, or on the stage, it stirs up blissful tears in my eyes.
I am somewhat familiar with the artist, Eric Prydz, because he remixed Pink Floyd's Another Brick In the Wall, many years ago, as well as some other famous songs—making them danceable. Personally, I feel this "Symphony of Unity" is a masterpiece. Who's with me in agreement? I am so touched hearing and seeing this phenomenal live music performance for the first time today.
Acknowledgements
I am grateful for the various ways this event stretches me as a music maker and a generous listener. I enjoy the surprises, discovering songs that inspire me. I get the impression we're all making progress, sharing our art with the world, making steady steps toward Global Harmony. And our unique way of honoring artists is centered around live music. How fun!
