Decided to sneak away and give the people we are staying with a bit of time without their annoying guests and went to an escape room today. We do lots of escape rooms at home but have actually run out of rooms in out small area so being in a different city we decided it would be to try one out. Today we attempt Sorcerer's Quest and barely managed to escape. The room was much different that what we are used to at home and a few of the puzzles really threw us for a loop. We are at a point where we rarely use clues when we go but today we had to use all of our clues and still barely managed.
Highlight of the room was probably the part where we had to solve a puzzle using a laser pointer. I've never seen a puzzle like that and it added a new dimension to the experience. I think going to an escape room while we are on vacation might just become a new ritual for us.
