I'm a bit under the weather today so I'll be keeping my posts short and sweet tonight. A bit of the flu rolling through my family and I think I'm next on the hit list. I love these action shots of Gillbert.

My wife used up the basil harvest to make some delicious pesto. This was the end result. A delicious creamy pesto and some shell pasta. Soooooooooooooooooo good! I'm very lucky I have such a wonderful

My smaller tomato has suddenly started to shoot upwards. I was a little surprised by how tall it is today and I hope it continues to show tremendous growth. I like seeing everything doing well and I think

Gillbert was polite and sat still for for his photo today before he started zipping around his tank showing off. He's been really active the last few days which makes me very happy. I love it when Gillbert

An aerial shot of mini-plant. I almost looks like a four leaf clover in this photo, pretty cool. I feel like the leaves have noticably increased in size this week. I'm still rooting for my little basil

Poor Gillbert just waiting around for his lazy owner to plant new plants for him. What a terrible owner Gillbert has, we should all feel bad for Gillbert. I found a ton of seeds but I just couldn't decide

A quick shot of my little pepper. I noticed one of the leaves has a bit of discoloration on it today. It's very minor but still not something I like to see on my plants. I hope it's alright. I'm already

Now much happening in the harden but that doesn't mean Gillbert isn't loving life! Caught some shots of Gillbert playing today. He was really following my finger around when I was playing with him then

Gillbert is mean mugging the camera! He was just going crazy when I was trying to take his picture tonight. Couldn't get him settled down long enough for a decent picture and this was the best I got. I

Had to raise the lights today and for the first time ever my tomato was the reason for the light raising. My tomato really seems to be thriving right now and I'm really excited to possibly have some tomatoes

Seems like the leaves of my pepper are growing a bit. The extra light might be giving this plant a little boost already. Remind me not not let my basil get as out of control in the future... And then there

Beautiful Gillbert patrolling the tank. I just missed catching him inside the castle again. He has really been using the castle lately. It makes me happy to see him using his toys. The leaf hammock is

Gillbert out chasing down his dinner! Now Gillbert eating in action. Lighting didn't really work for this but you can still see Gillbert devouring his food. Little guy just don't wanna stop!

The garden looks so empty now, I just can't get over it. My tomato looks massive now even though it hasn't grown much. It is very much the focal point of the garden right now. Added a ton of water today,

Used up all the basil that I harvested yesterday and turned it into a delicious pesto. These are the ingredients we used. Trying to do this dairy free so no parmesan cheese for us. Our ingredients used

Gillbert with his glowing eye of hate! Ok maybe not but his eye still looks pretty cool in this photo. I really need to get some new plants to help boost up the water filtration. I just can't get the water

That garden is looking quite a bit different than yesterday. Had a massive basil harvest today and I believe I have some delicious pesto in my future. It's weird seeing my tomato as the tallest plant in

So I harvested a bit of basil tonight. I ended up with a little bit of a mound once I was all done. Next step was ripping off all the leaves from the stems. My wife caught this amazing action shot of the

Caught Gillbert napping on the rocks! No flash because I didn't want to startle him. After he finally woke up he immediately swam to the glass and attacked his reflection. I guess that's proof that maybe

My beautiful pepper, I really wish you would grow but I will love you no matter what. It's really disappointing that this plant never grew. I should do some research to see if there is anything I can do
