My one tomato plant is starting to look quite good. Lots of leaves, thick stem and good coloring. I'm going to have to start thinking about pollination and actual tomato's soon! I'll have to break out

Gillbert teasing me around the castle once again. I still refuse to believe he's ever been inside until I see it with my own eyes. Maybe one day he will use his toys. A man can dream I further brutalized

I'm fairly sure this is the closest I will ever see Gillbert to using one of his toys. Sure he was only there because that's where I drop the food into the tank but I'm gonna take it as a victory. Seems

My basil is getting out of control. I had to raise the lights again and I'm worried that I'm depriving my smaller plants of light in order to give the basil more room to grow. I should be able to harvest

I found out where Gillbert sleeps! Little guy tucks himself in behind the pump! I guess that's why I never see him in the leaf hammock, he's too busy sleeping with the pump! Apparently my wife has now

Gillbert was hovering around the castle but just wouldn't go in. I was trying my best to get an action shot of it but alas I have failed. He was extra active tonight so it was fun watching him zoom around

No more mini-greenhouse for my pepper! It was pressing on the top this morning so I guess that means it's time to remove it. You can see way more leaves today and it almost looks like a totally different

Gillbert was super playful today. My wife had him chasing her finger and I swear he almost laid in his hammock. I moved the hammock right after this picture so it sits a little flatter in the water. I

Gillbert checking out his leaf hammock. For a brief moment I thought he was going to lay on the hammock but he was just swimming loops around it instead. Was still fun to watch but I really want him to

Another beautiful day in the winter garden. My plants are doing great and I think we can bump up our pepper to officially sprouted. That's a nice little patch of green! Can't wait for the pepper to start

I'm not ready to call this plant officially sprouted but damn that's getting close! A little bit of green poking out ready to spring out from the earth. The soil seems nice and moist and the mini-greenhouse

Gillbert checking out his leaf hammock. He still doesn't seem crazy about his new toys but I'm still hoping they grow on him. I think it would be cool to see him swimming through his cave or resting on

Gillbert got some toys! I wanted to spice things up for Gillbert for all his hard work feeding my plants. I got him a nice little betta cave and a leaf hammock. So far he seems a bit interested in the

This basil has been on a rampage this week, so many damn leaves and I had to raise the lights again. Leaves are looking healthy and the plant is just thriving right now. I'm going to have to trick my wife
