The pepper continues it's rise! The second leaf is almost ready to pop out of the pod, soon the vegetables will take over the winter garden. Everything has been aligning itself for an epic battle between basil and vegetables. We have the twin towers of the winter garden, the secret basil and The Great Basil, who tower over all. But they won't have unchallenged control over the garden forever. The tomato brothers lay in wait, biding their time, slowly growing with aims at surpassing the basil one day. Our new pepper has eagerly joined them on their quest to overthrow the basil and end this peaceful era of the winter garden.
And mini-plant is just derping around in the shadows...
Garden is doing well. Need to add some more water tomorrow to keep up with current garden demands but besides that everything is really doing well. I have lots of basil to harvest and my new plants seem to be thriving. I'm very happy with this project nearly four months in. The garden has changed a lot and I still find it new and exciting each and every day. I can't wait until we have some actual vegetables growing on these plants!
