ok so did not notice the follow up post hello everyone my name is butops and today we are making a battle mage secrets post in the theme of weak magic
ok so without further ado i shall first paste the link of the battle right here

and with that we begin with the brief description of what i used
Summoner- Kelya level 4 regular foil -owned
Monsters
Front line - Diemonshark level 4 regular- owned
2nd pos- Tide Biter level 3 regular owned
3rd pos- Donatello(swamp spitter) level 5 regular- soulbound owned
4th pos- Venari Wavesmith level 4 regular - owned
5th pos- Torrent Fiend -level 1 regular - owned
backline -Uraeus - level 3 regular -owned
so with the ruleset being weak magic and melee mayhem i went with this formation
so the buffs kick in giving my diemonshark a whopping 2 armor with its already massive 7 armor the turn begins with the time mage damaging the diemonsharks armor by 2
supply runner damages the armor further by 3 with its 3 range attack
followed by a double attack by the venari prismsmith and pelacor arbalest but not before triggering the effect of enrage infuriating the diemonshark in a frenzy increasing its attack by 50 percent
then comes the counterattack by the diemonshark damaging the pelacor conjurer by 5
the aria bandit attacks the swamp spitter using snipe while the tidebiter follows up the reach on the conjurer killing it by damaging its last hp
meanwhile the combined ranged and magic damage of the venari wavesmith and swamp spitter makes a fitting end for the enemy supply runner
uraeus attacks the aria with minimal damage alongside the torrent fiend which misses
meanwhile the diemonshark attacks once more destroying the pelacor arbalest in the process triggering the trample ability
also crushing the venari crystalsmith armor in its rage
tide biter attacks and gets 2 hp chunk off as well
another double from the wavesmith and swamp spitter kills the crystalsmith
and the uraeus finishes off with a backstrike to the aria's unfinished business
so i earn myself a win against someone who is of higher rating than me
so what i learned is that
with the melee mayhem ruleset my units made short work of my enemies and since my opponent only has one sniper its made the disadvantage much more apparent
the combination of both kelya and the wavesmith ensured my surviveability alonsgside the support of the swamp spitter's repair ability takingt the tide of battle in my favor
