In a history, the Messenger of Allah once said. "The best day where the sun rises in it is Friday. On that day Adam Alaihis Salam was created, entered into heaven, removed from it and the Resurrection does not occur except on Friday. "[Muslim History]

The Messenger of Allah also said, "Verily the most important day for you is Friday, so multiply prayer to me in it, because your prayer will be shown to me, the Companions said: 'How is it shown to you while you have become a land?' The Prophet said: ' Verily Allah forbids the earth to eat the bodies of the Prophets. "(Shohih. HR. Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, An-Nasa'i)

Another feature of Friday is the time when the prayer is granted, namely the final moments after the Ashar prayer (as explained in many hadiths) or between the seat of the priest on the pulpit while preaching Friday to the finished prayer.

Your Highness

Allah specializes this Friday only for Muslims from all the people of the past. There are many secrets and virtues that come directly from God.

Some of the secrets of majesty and virtue of Friday are as follows;

First, Blessing Day. Where on Friday Muslims gather in mosques to attend prayers and previously listen to two Friday sermons which contain directions and teachings and advice addressed to the Muslims which all contain the benefits of religion and the world. Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyyah said that Friday has 33 virtues. Even Imam as-Suyuthi said there were 1001 privileges.

Second, the Day of Granting of Prayer. Among the secrets of the other virtues of Friday is that on that day there are times when the prayer is granted.

Third, Friday Prayer Day. The Messenger of Allah said, "Let the people stop from leaving Friday prayers. Or (if not) God will definitely lock their day, then they must be negligent people. "[Muslim] In another narration, the Messenger of Allah mentioned, "Friday Prayers are a right that is obligatory for every Muslim except four people; slaves or women, or small children, or sick people. "[Abu Daud]

"Believers, when called to perform Friday prayers, then hasten to remember Allah and leave the sale and purchase, that is better for you if you know." [Surat: Al-Jumu'ah: 9]

"Whoever purifies and bathes, then hurries and hears the sermon from the beginning, walks not by driving, approaches the priest, then listens to the sermon and does not do nothing in vain, then for him every step of the year is both fasting and prayer."

Fourth, the Day of Distinction between Islam and Non-Muslims. Friday is a special day for Muslims. Besides that the Prophet was given to distinguish between the day of Jews and Christians.

Abu Hurairah narrated, the Messenger of Allah said: "Allah has turned the people before us to make Friday their holiday, therefore the Jewish feast is Saturday, and the feast of Christians is Sunday, then Allah gives guidance to we are to make Friday a holiday, so that God makes the feast day in a row, that is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And on the Day of Resurrection they will follow us like that sequence, even though in the world we are the last inhabitants, but on the Day of Resurrection we will be the first order that will be decided before all beings. "[HR. Muslim]

Fifth, the Day of God appears. In a history it is said, Friday God appeared to His believing servants in Heaven. From Anas bin Malik in commenting on the verse: "And We have the increase" (QS.50: 35) says: "God appeared to them every Friday."

There are still many animals on Friday. Among others are; In "al-Musnad" from Abu Lubabah's hadith bin Abdul Munzir, from the Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam, he said:

"The caretaker of the day is Friday, it is the most important day with Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala, greater in the sight of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala than on the day of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. On that Friday there are five features: That day, the father of all humanity, the Prophet Adam 'Peace be upon him was created, sent down to the world, and died. Judgment Day will not happen except Friday.

Therefore, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi Wasallam, greatly honored this day, respected him, and dedicated him to worship compared to other days. *
