Music is a therapy for the soul and it is still one of the things that keeps us sane with all that is happening in the world.
It is what many people go to when they are happy, sad, excited, lonely, nervous, and many more, we have different kinds and genres of songs that fit the situation we are going through which is the beauty of music.
There are 2 things that make a song interesting to the ear, the lyrics and the beat but unfortunately, many people just dance to the beat of music without understanding the messages the musician is passing in the lyrics which I am also guilty of.
When we are going through hard times, we get to understand the lyrics of some songs better because we are in the mood to listen to soothing words and not the other hyper mood that makes us dance.
There was a time when I did not really like Westlife songs except the one titled My Love, the First Time Heartbreak Found its way into my life, Westlife songs became my favorite, I downloaded a lot of their songs on my phone, I even bought their music disc which I played whenever I am at home.
Their songs were my comfort, some of those songs will make me so emotional because they remind me of the past, it is just what I need at that moment also the songs were able to heal me without me realizing it, which is the power of music
The lyrics make a lot of sense, they talk about betrayal, hope, lost love, and many more dealing with our feelings, even though I do not listen to their songs that much again I still like them and I vibe to them when someone plays them.
I am a fan of Indian music, growing up in a family where the father is a lover of Indian movies and songs made the children also grow to love it, I am the last born out of a family of six, and they all love India movies and songs, which proves again that children tend to learn their habits and some interest from their parents.
As I was born and landed in the house like this, it was Indian music I was hearing in the house and I also joined them to watch the Indian movie playing at that moment and everyone was happy, JK!馃槄
People wonder why I love Indian songs when I do not hear what they are saying but that is wrong, most of the Indian songs I listened to have been used in movies and they often subtitle their films, I know the meaning of the songs and some of their songs, I just vibe with the beats! it is more interesting than Zazu and one corner that is being hyped somewhere in my country.
