Hello Splinter nerds
The long awaited promo sale of the common dragon monster[vruz] started yesterday and it is going to last for seven days, so if you are yet to claim yet or you didn't hear about it, here is your chance and don't miss out on the freebies...
I purchased mine yesterday and i got 70 standard cards and 5 gold foil, i am lucky to get 5 gold since only 1 gf is guaranteed for every 25 vruz purchased...
Incase you have some sps staked, then you have some vruz to purchase as well, i will be dropping the steps to claim it below...
Step 1: Log into your splinterlands account and click on the shop option shown in the screenshot above
Step 2: Navigate and click on the promo option that is also circled in the screenshot above...
Once you finish the first 2 step, the page above pops up, you can see that only 5 days and 18 hours left before it is no available for purchase, click on the buy now...
The numbers of cards you are eligible to get will be shown as it is in my screenshot, my limit was 75 because i had 75 000 sps staked, also you need to move vouchers from sps chain to ingame to purchase the card.. It is quite simple, just click on the manage option to do that...
Once you follow all the steps, you will get your vruz!!
Meanwhile while playing, i tested a new line up using the martyr ability and Beatrix ironhand
It was a 12 mana battle cap but that was not really the issue, the main problem was the battle rule which was going the distance meaning only monsters with range attack can be used...
We have less range attackers with the close range ability and the few we have are high mana, like 5 above so i had to becareful while selecting my team...
The opponent came with 4 monsters but i only use two...
My first monster had martyr ability which boost the monster adjacent to it when it dies, and that was what i relied on to enhance the power of my main attacker which is the beatrix
Beatrix beast mode was activated immediately my first monster died and she was untouchable till the battle end, she single handedly killed all the opponent monsters...
I tried it again in another battle with same mana cap and rule set...
The opponent almost got me in this battle with his monster with the stun ability but i was lucky the stun didn't work the second time which was all i needed to defeat his team....
I will be using this tactics more often as it seems to work fine for me....
