Hello friends of #TravelFeed, I share with you these images of this property and its surroundings. Places like this abound in Havana, each of them has such a rich historical background that it can magically transport you to the prosperous and populous city that was once the Cuban capital.
This mansion is located at the corner of 25 and N in Vedado, and currently functions as the Marriage Palace of the municipality. It belonged to Fausto García Menocal, brother of Mario García Menocal, who was president of Cuba until around 1941.
Its surroundings show a certain degree of deterioration, but the colonial style of the property is still preserved. It is always good to know a little about the history that places like this hold.

Hola amigos de #TravelFeed, les comparto estas imágenes de este inmueble y alrededores, sitios como estos abundan en La Habana, cada uno de ellos tienen un transfondo histórico tan rico, que puede transportarte mágicamente a la próspera y populosa ciudad que fue alguna vez la capital cubana.
Esta mansión está situada en la esquina de 25 y N en el Vedado, actualmente funciona como el Palacio de los Matrimonios del municipio. Perteneció a Fausto García Menocal, hermano de Mario García Menocal, quien fuera presidente de Cuba hasta alrededor de 1941.
Sus alrededores muetran cierto grado de deterioro, pero aún se conserva el estilo colonial del inmueble. Siempre es bueno conocer un poco de la historia que resguardan lugares como este.
