So as hubby gets his surgery I sit in the waiting room. Now, this is both minimally invasive and an ambulatory surgery(meaning same day). But still... if the care of someone you love is completely out of your hands and out of your view and reach- you feel helpless and in the the dark. And when you know your loved one is being knocked out and operated on, regardless of how minimal it is... It's scary. I'm sending all my love and good vibes into that room with them. I'm checking the surgical screen constantly to check his status with his patient number. It's a 30-45 minute surgery. Every 5 minutes I check, and its always "In the OR".... Duh. Its barely been 15 minutes. I am here waiting and waiting but each small minute feels like an eternity. I just want his stubborn, cranky ass to get better and come back home with me. The bright side is that at least now he will no longer be in pain and we can continue our normal life together. And I can't wait to have my Beast back. Cause right now.... Bunni isn't doing too well without her Panda. When your S/O is hurt and their quality of life is impacted... it effects everything, as well as everyone else in the home and their quality of life. Home, normal routine, temperament of the hurt and everyone around them, general morale of the family, sex life, ability to play with our little girl, summer activities(or lack thereof).... It's all stuck in chaos. I can't wait to have myyy Manny back. Cause seeing him stuck in pain and barely able to move around was breaking all our hearts and leaving him depressed, mopey, cranky, snappy, and worst of all in constant pain. Im so grateful for the staff here at HSS for taking care of and helping to fix my Panda. For giving him the opportunity for this surgery that other docs wouldn't. Thank goodness for such a wonderful surgical team. Send my lovey some positive vibes and healing energies fellow Steemians! Thanks!
Love you All!
