One of the most attractive elements of cryptocurrencies and the "blockchain markets" is that they operate on a "no borders" policy. What I mean here is that trading bitcoin and altcoins are not limited by time schedules, national origin, or other artificial barriers that separate mankind. In other words, cryptocurrencies represent the truest form of free markets.
A great example of this came recently when my Steemit friend @markpluto called me up late at night to discuss future strategies for cryptocurrencies, specifically, some altcoins that have long-term profitability potential. Ordinarily, such a request would be out of the question -- Wall Street doesn't operate afterhours or on weekends, for one thing.
Not only did we have a robust discussion on bitcoin, the blockchain, and the altcoins in question, we were able to trade on these ideas as well. Again, such a move would be impossible with traditional investment vehicles. But with cryptocurrencies, the markets are open 24/7. Plus, the fact that we were able to do all this in a cafe made the experience all the more cooler.
The more you consider the freedom that you have with the blockchain, the more you realize that the stock market is steadily losing its relevance. By comparison, Wall Street is an antiquated, analog technology that is light years behind the blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
