I don't particularly enjoy writing posts warning people not to buy from certain companies, but sometimes the situation warrants it. This was the case when I bought from Kzoo Bullion.
I saw a reverse proof buffalo round for sale in The Inflation Mitigation Lounge run by Bullion Brother. I'd never seen one before, so I bought one and requested it be put in an air tite.
It looks cool, right? I thought so too.
Here's how it looks 6 months later.
Milk spots galore and some odd toning. I've never taken it out of the capsule!
It's sad that unless it's a well-known mint with a proven track record, it's anybody's guess if the piece will stay nice or end up looking like this. Oh well. At least I only bought one and didn't overpay.
